Ed Monk Wooden Boat Club Membership Application

Organized in April of 1989 by Charlotte Widener for all owners of Ed Monk Sr. and Jr. designed wooden boats. Formed as a general "Mutual Admiration Society", as Monk boat owners seem to seek one another in marinas, anchorage's, boat shows. We enjoy maintaining our boats, exchanging ideas, comparing designs and construction features and talking about how Monk boats have influenced our marine activities. Our cruises, rendezvous and meetings are usually held on the second weekend of the month with shore side get-togethers, potlucks and barbecue's. Winter meetings are at a home or restaurant. There are no officers, bylaws or clubhouse other than the volunteers and committees who publish the monthly newsletter, web site, rosters, cruise and meeting schedule and keep the history file of club boats.
